Cats like yours are called: 'Domestic Short Hairs.' (A fancy term used to describe a non-purebred housecat with short hair.)

He looks like he's got some Siamese background with that color, but his face and ears aren't the right shape to be full or even a part Siamese. I'd guess he's mostly a moggy by the shape of his face and eyes and put him down as a Domestic Shorthair with Siamese points.

He's a lovely Domestic Shorthair or what's affectionately known as a Moggie.
Unless it's purebred or the parents were and you knew them, there is no way of knowing.

Love the pic, what a beautiful little guy you've got there! He's probably a mixture of a couple breeds, as many cats are of course, so I would say he's a DSH.
