I have three felonies on my record, burglary-stealing, from same incident, and failure to appear in court. i have pulled all my local strings of buddies and talked to every recruiter. I want to enlist in active duty. i am not in it for the money, just personal redemtion and a sincere effort to do something for my country. I support our president, it's eeasy to see if we do not face tryanny now, it will conquer us all in the end. I am front and center willing to lay my life in service to my nation, my crimes are old and trivial, am i not good enough to defend my nation and try to find a better part of me through the U.S Army? Please help!

loki has it right you are not getting in right away dude. If you can get into the National Guard, that may be the only way you can serve. Three felonies? It is impossible. Sorry man.

Wow, some of you people are just god damned ignorant. First off, we dont allow illegals. If you dont have the right info, shut your mouth. Expungment, and such does not matter. The military goes through an FBI background check, meaning anything and everything, sealed, closed, erased, juvenile, we know about it. Your last option maybe the national guard.

Listen up soldier, this is what yuou are going to do.
Talk with the Chief of Police in your area, tell him your hopes, ask him to write a letter for you to the judge to have your charges reduced to misdeamnors or expunged, you will need at least five letters from prominent people in your community saying how you have turned your life around and are willing and ready to join the military, Priests, Doctors, Newspaper editors, High School Principals, thats who did it for me so try it and let me know if you need any more help.
PS once you get the letters, email me and i will tell you what to do next.

You may try to go in with a fake identity or erase the background.

when you talk to the recruiter be honest and upfront about things. then they will decide if they can take you. it will be up to them and as long as you are honest with them and they find no stuff that you try to hide you should be good i would think. good luck.

Not to worry, the Army has lowered its standards so much in the last couple of years--they're desperate for just about anybody these days! lol

they take illegal immigrants into the military, I'm not sure you'd have a problem.

Recruiters are pretty desperate.
