The average weight of a two yr old is around 28lb although this will vary from child to child as all children are different, in your red child health book there will be a chart of what is expected at 2.

Hi, in uk with each baby born you get a baby record book, in that is a weight chart, you should have taken the child for a 2 year check at the weighing clinic and agani at 3 and 4 where they will plot the childs weight on a chart and you can plainly see where she/he falls on the chart. There is no set weight and normal can be various weights as there is no set weight for anyone to be, your best bet is the record book and take your child along to the next baby clinic. I stopped taking my child to clinic when she was 1 but was recently informed i am supposed take her first 6 monthly till she was 2 then yearly till she is 4.

i dont know the excat weight but you can find that out from the chemist doctors health vistors also look at the red book on the weight chart and theres a line that should give you an idea but it also depends on your your child is he tiny and small boned or big and beefy but i honestly think th best advice you will get is from a dietitcan or nutrisant (sorry about the bad spelling) hope everything works out well

as long as your 2 yr old is happy that is all that matters i have a 2 yr girl that is 50 lbs but she is not a really chubby girl....if you are still concerned when they get to be about 10 then talk to your pediatrician because kids gain weight then lose weight then they equal out and everything is fine anyhow....

it should be one and a half to two stone approx
how heavy is your child and how tall is your child parents weight has nothing to do with it it is what you let the child eat and what type of food they are eating (not nagging) you decide what your child eats not them if they do not like it they can go hungry it does not do them any harm.

There isn't a certain weight he should be that we can tell you. We don't know how much he weighs, how big you and your spouse are, etc. You need to ask his pediatrician if his weight is normal. Usually if it has been increasing in a normal amount then he is fine.
