like could you just push the ring through the part of your lip that you wanted to have pierced?...becuz i have a kind of phobia of needles but i really want this done and i was wondering if a lip ring would work just as well since you would get the perfect size and everything?

Yes but more then likely it will get infected and you'll have to remove it.I'm scared of needles too!!
It took me six months before I got my tongue pierced. It really didn't hurt when I got it done though.Good luck.

It wouldn't work. The ring is not nearly sharp enough and it would hurt like crazy while attempting to do it.
I have a massive needle phobia as well, but honestly, I do just fine with piercings. I've had 13 piercings so far and I haven't freaked out about a single one of them. Just take a deep breath and close your eyes while it's happening. It also helps if you take a friend with you to hold your hand! :^)

it wouldn't be advised afterall the needle that they use is a hollow needle so it actually removes some of the tissue rather than just pushing it to the side so I would say if you are a big enough person to want a piercing you are just going to have to be big enough for a not so little needle :) good luck with that

you could but your risk of getting an infection is greater. also the hole might not heal as well if you ever decided to take it out.

my advice- don't be a wimp go to a professional

i guess, but it would be terribly painful, you'll bleed more than you would if you got it done professionally, you'll get it infected, and finally, you will have to let it grown in which will be painful. don't do it.
