I'm not a fan of the concept, but won't decide until after I see it a couple of times.

I agree safety first, but stock car racing is in the toilet with the "COT"! I can't the believe manufactures are allowing the change.
I drive a Monte Carlo SS because it resembles the car on the track. The COT look clunky, not sporty and fast. We normally go to 2 to 3 races a year, but will not attend a track that the COT will be at! The spoiler makes the cars look like the Japanese rice burners found in the movies a few years ago.
Those are NOT stock cars!

I dont neccessarily hate it, the main purpose is that is safer but also what alot of people forget it.....
Its supposed to make the racing better. All the parts you mentioned the purpose is to make the racing better not really for appearance purposes.
I kinda felt the same way about the way the car looked, but NASCAR intentions are to make the racing better then it already is. If it proves to be successful who knows you might eventually start to like it. Also you never know if they might be able to improve the look in a couple years.

I haven't made up my mind yet! It's too new. Wait until after Sunday and I'll probably have a better Idea if I like it or not. I want to see these things in action first. But Then again it's bristol so it could be hard to judge right off the bat.

Before everyone jumps in and says that they hate it, why not wait until after the race in Bristol. See how it does on a short track, then see how it does on a longer track. Just because Tony Stewart says he hates it, doesn't mean that its a bad car. Others who have driven it have said that while its different, its just a car that will take some getting used to.

I think the cot will be a good change,it will take a beating and allow drivers to use the "chrome horn" again. It''ll be fun to watch guys punt each other out of the road ,just like in the good old days.

I have to be honest, I'm really interested to see how the COT does. And then again I also agree with you on keeping the look we have now. It will be alot diffrent. But you also have to keep in mind saftey and they safe the cars are alot safe now. Let's see how they do.

How can you hate something that you have not seen run yet? Let it go at the track this weekend and get it on a super speedway.

I don't hate it but the wing is an embarrassment! Like they commissioned a gay french artist to design it's look.
