i just want to take a vacation to where i have never been b4. and wud like to know is it safe. and whats people theres is like. i'm just curious. sound intersting.

It is beautiful and the people are very kind and it is safe, and almost everyone you'll meet speaks English. You can check out history, sport/adventure, culture, beaches and shopping, what more could you ask for? And it is not expensive.
Have a very good time.
Go to Istanbul, Kappidokia and Olympus. Other places you might want to go are Efes, Van and maybe the Black Sea but I have never been there, so I can't recommend Trabzon or Samsun.

We went to Hillside Beach Club (all-inclusive resort in Turkey) two summers ago with our 7 y.o. What a great vacation it was!!! Beautiful seaside: the water was crystal clear and blue. The food was beyond what we could ever expect. The entertainment was better than anywhere in Europe or North America. People where very friendly and nice. We didn't really go out though, just a kinda stayed at the resort. But we had so much to do and so much fun that we never wanted to go on excursions and stuff.

Don't always believe what you read. Turkey is a beautiful country and going there is as safe as going anywhere else in Europe. My advice? Stay out of the inner cities. Find somewhere rural and unspoilt, yet well connected. That way you get amazing weather, friendly people, beautiful views and fantastic nightlife is just a chap taxi ride or short walk away. Check out the village of Hisaronu.

I'm Greek and I know where is Turkey, because its a neighbor country. But, I can't understand how someone is possible not to know countries, with history of thousands of years and so good developed tourism, like Greece and Turkey.

turkey is fantastic.
theres so much to do.
there are bars and clubs galore!
you can take boat trips to see other islands and even go to greece for the day. jeep safaris are great for seeing the sights. turkish nights to see the belly dancers/ break dancers and traditional dancers. take excersions to different resorts. shopping is very cheap for clothes (fake or real designers).
ride the camels at camel beach. go to the mosques. history tours. watersports.
there so much more too...
you will never be bored in turkey :D
the poeple are the most accomodating ppl in the worls i think personally. and they will go out of their way to look after you. you will be safe there. try not to walk alne at night tho. some of the men can be a bit full on. just learn to tell them 'no i dont want to come to your bar/shop/ on a date' .

Turkey is pretty ok to travel there. they dont fight that much in wars. these people r muslims. there pretty friendly people and i wanna take a vacation there someday too

wiki turkey, it doesn't sound like there's all that much to do there though, perhaps you could do a big vacation with several different countries and just stay a few days in turkey
