I am making a story about a virus and I want to know how to make a name that really describes the virus. It is going to be really neat but I also want it as authentic as possible. I have it as Kentitis right now because I know that pertains to swollen glands but...
This virus raises body heat until the blood boils and inner organs burst. The lymph nodes swell (HENCE THE ITIS) and burst. It is very gory.
I can give more info if needed but I'd rather not until I copright it. Please help!

Kentitis sounds to be more of a disease name. How about any of the following:

"X-rexia virus" - as a short for extreme pyrexia (fever) as the effect of your fake virus you described.Could also be "X-rexic"

"Bloobo virus" coined short name derived from boiling blood.
"Volckie virus" derived from word volcano as the virus you described is a bit similar to a volcanic activity.

What do you think?

I don't know how authentic you want it to be.
Scientists used to name virus according to the place it was discovered in. The virus name (not disease) needs to have virus at the end of it like xyz virus. They classify it according to whether they are RNA or DNA virus and whether they cause acute or latent disease.
You should read upon how real virus work.....so it should sound authentic.

Cytolymphatic Hemmoragic Fever (CHF)
CYTOplasm
LYMPHATIC system/nodes
HEMMORAGIC-self explanatory
FEVER- self explanatory

Also, you might want to look up some of the hemmoragic fevers such as Ebola, and what can cause super high fevers to come up with a name for the actual virus that causes this disease.
