Islam as a religion is nice. Anything is excess is bad, even if it is religion! It is a good religion as long as people do not get fanatic about it.

One wonders what true Islam is all about; there can be so many different interpretations...it's very confusing.
I think Mohammad was the messiah of the Arabs...nice guy; however, I think his true teachings died with him and his followers organized the Quran to suit their political agenda.

on paper its a nice religion and I would not fault anyone for practicing it.
Unfortunately though many of its adherents commit acts of violence and destruction in the name of their religious teachings.
What Islam needs is a reformation so that Muslim nations and their citizens will act more like Muslims in Turkey or Albania than how they do in Afghanistan and Lebanon.

I am sure I will be acused of unsult but having read the quran I can honestly say it is a mishmash of old and new resriment storuys and rules with meny added unreasonable laws and not from God.

I think that it is a wonderful faith that encourages humility and grace. It saddens me that many selfish people use it as a tool to inspire hatred, it gives it a bad reputation that it does not deserve...
