If I had a buck for every post I see on Answers from some girl scratching her head wondering what happened. Why was she cheated on. I want to bring out the violin. Many girls get cheated on because they set themselves up to be cheated, no ne else. If you stop by the blanket and engage the man in a game of 3 card Monty, you can't get mad when he has lighten your purse of $50. So many girls pine after some guy because he is the hot, hunky, popular one, all the other girls want him too. And they KNOW he has been through 8 g/f in 3 years yet they feel they have some special mojo that will make him give up his womanizing ways and keep them? If you girls know that he has "humped and dumped" all those girls before you are you just clueless or in denial because you don't want to think of the day when you are the next "humped and dumped" girl of his?

I like the analogy of 3 card Monty.
I can only assume that they believe that they shall be The One Who Changes the Playa. They shall so captivate the playa that the playa changes his ways.
I also hope that they take adequate precautions because this type of guy is usually a disease factory.
I am sorry but I have no sympathy for these stories.
In time, with age and experience, shall come wisdom.

So true! You think you will be the girl who makes the guy commit and be madly in love with you! Like that's the brass ring, the prize in the CrackerJack Box. Anyone with the history the guy usually has is no prize but somehow that part of the picture never is seen clearly. What wasted energy and time!

Girls are aturally a lot more sensitive than guys. Things that upset girls don't bother guys. Girls also tend to gat more attached then men to their partners.
There is no way you can say 'girls set themselves up to be cheated on'. That's like saying its their fault you are an unfaithful b****rd. If you cheat, it's you who's the ***

it is so hard to concentration. We merely decide on the flow back down with out even noticing. getting to grasp to become wide awake and alert is the main confusing element to realize and safeguard. i for my area be stricken by unintended flashes of lucidity, yet not frequently adequate to make you notice.

girls like a challenge, we like to find broken/ messed up/ player guys and fix em up like guys do when they renovate crappy old houses. its a fixer-upper. its a project. something we can put our energy into and come out of it saying, I made him the man he is today. too bad too many of we girls find out too late that it never works. even though we think ooooh what me and him have is different, he really loves me, he won't hurt me like he hurt her. it's denial. we like to hope we are better than that other girl, when in reality, we think of ourselves as lower and only grant ourselves the gold star when we fix him. which never happens. its a vicious cycle. its self sabotage and it's a self fulfilling prophecy.
