Does anyone know any homemade recipes for lightening hair? I don't want to spend a lot of money on hair color, but would like highlights. I've taken cosmetology class and know how to do hair, but don't remember any home remedies for lightening. Please let me know if you know of any. Thanks.

To lighten ur hair u can buy something called sun in at wal-mart. all u have to do is put in ur hair and go outside so the sun can lighten ur hair. U can also do the same with lemon juice.

If you want to put highlights in your hair use a lemon cut up the lemon into the size you want then just streakyour hair it works
