I was always teased for the way i look, tall, skinny, really long limbs, big nose acne, big ears. i now LOVE being tall and skinny, my acne is gone, my ears grew tiny, my nose grew small. i am now a model and feel it could be gods way of a blessing for all the teasing.

When I ended up in the emergency center, the only thing I could do was to pray to get through it... and I realized I couldn't recite The Lord's Prayer. I became a Christian about 2 weeks later, and this has changed my life and my attitude towards life.

I was born with amblyopia, which is better known as "lazy eye". I've always had issues with self esteem, and it's largely due to this. When I was a child, a teenager, and a young adult, I was constantly subjected to insensitive remarks by both kids and adults. When I was 22, I finally had the opportunity to have the condition surgically corrected. It didn't resolve all of my mental health issues, but it did help a great deal. I'm really thankful for the opportunity I received to get the surgery.

I spent a month in Tanzania (east africa) last summer doing volunteer work. I worked at a primary school with mentally handicapped children and then at an all girls orphanage. It was the most difficult thing i ever did but it was the best experience of my life to date. Because of the short amount of time i spent in Africa, i have started to go back to school and i now know that i want to travel and do more work like what i did in Africa after i graduate.
