Blank airplane on fs2004.com?

Their is template to down load a certain airplane on fs2004.com and i dont know how to paint it. It says you can paint it however you want but i cant figure out how. Do You? if so could you please tell me how?

Hop on FlightSim or Avsim.com and look for the "paintkit" for that respective aircraft by searching the file library. You'll then need to use an image program to "paint" the aircraft livery.

use a program such as photoshop to do this, im guessing, as i have never painted an aircraft.
