OK so i want my bridesmaids to have black dresses for my wedding, i am just torn on the flower colors. I have my heart set on a red bouqet of roses, but i don't know what color/kind of flowers my bridesmaids would have that would complement. but also i really like dark purples and light purples for flower choice, i just don't know if i want a purple bouqet over red roses. waht do i do any suggestions

just because your bridesmaids would be having purple bouqets doesnt mean you would have to

infact it would be good to have a difference between them

What about adding purple baby's breath type flowers and maybe purple ribbons to your red rose bouquet and then have your bridesmaids carry purple bouquets (maybe with red ribbons). That way you both carry over the color scheme.
