Think t.v and movies have influenced you too much. Relationships is just that. A relationship. Just cause loved is involved doesn't mean that it is all pink elephants and flowers. It is what you make it. Love is never the problem. It is the relationship that you have and ways you work around things. What you see in the movies and tv is what it is a story. You see it end happy. That is just where the story you see ends. You don't see the years that happen afterward. . Why would you want a never ending story with someone you can't be with. Unless you never want that. Life is a story. If you find that person that you want to continue your life with then your story goes together.

I'm a little confused by what question your asking. Nothing is perfect especially not your relationships with other people. There are going to be ups & there are going to be downs. What's important is that you are willing to work through those ups & downs together. A lot of people don't see the happy endings because they are willing to do the work & they are too eager to walk away & give up.

Women in particular give up too easy. I say if you find someone that you trust and is your friend, then you should be there through thick and thin. Never judge anyone because your no better than the next person.

some people also say that marriage is the grave of love , but I believe that is all wrong , these argument , and problems come only if the tow lovers were not realistic and reasonable in there relationship , and when they were dreaming of the day that will gather them together , they also should know that life has the good and the bad , the happiness and the sadness and they must accept all of them and continue in loving each other whatever happened and overcome the hard times that they might face it , or that their feeling was not love but lust . at last , the real love story is the story that has a happy ending .

There is no such thing as happily ever after. That's the stuff of fictional fairy-tailes. Real life relationships are between two ever-changing individuals, so the relationship changes each day. Problems are part of life. Differences of opinions and arguements are inevitable. The true test of the strength of the relationship is how readily the two individuals come through the adversity that comes their way, from outside sources or from their differences. The two people will embrace their differences and readily share their different opinions and approaches to problems in life. They will support one another in their quest for the joy in life, as a couple and as individuals.

There is no guarantee that any relationship, whether it be romantic or a friendship, will last forever. You just have to fully enjoy each person that comes into your life and lovingly let them go should the time come. They each bring you lessons and growth and you should thank them for the gift of the lessons they bring and their time with you.

From another person's point of view love may not b perfect, but if the 2 ppl involved in the relationship r happy, then it is a love story w/ a happy ending.

Yes, they are love stories. Everyone is going to have trials and tribulations, but the ones that last those 50+ years are the true love stories. Listen to some older people about their wedding, the seperation during the war, and look at how they still live together, at 90+years old, in their house, taking care of one another til death do they part, and those are the charming True Life love stories that we should all dream about having.

Not a relationship? If there's no relationship, then there's no love. It sounds like you're only talking about emotions, and that's not real love. If that's all you have, then no wonder you think love stories should have sad endings. Feelings come and go, but feelings are only one small part of love. The whole of love does not come and go on its own. It can only be given away, received, taken, and let go.

Is it really a love story if it doesn't have a happy ending?

No, a love story does not always have a happy end. Haven't you seen the movie?
Seriously, any good relationship, if it can grow, has fights, arguments, etc. Paul and Linda McCartney had a great love story...not so happy ending, since she died.
KIDS also take the 'charm' away, I find. But if its true love, you find ways to rekindle it. That said, I somewhat agree with Bernie Mac: Its not whether you LOVE someone; thats easy. It's whether you LIKE them!

wha the hell? i read this 5 times and i still dont get it lol all i know is when problems, arguements, and all that other "bad" stuff goes on in a relationship, it doesn't take the charm away, it's a part of love. if anyone says (i read only the short replies, im lazy) they have the perfect relationship, either they're full of it, or obviously blind to things that go on in theif life. i actually like the occasional argument with my girl, cuz i know that once we done argue'n, uh........ yea ;)

What about the couple that stays married until they die? That goes through every single big or little moment in life together? The couple that raises children who turn into parents and the couple who becomes grandparents toether? The couple who look at one another even at 70 years old and still sees the man/woman they married 45 years ago? Don't you think that's a happy ending? Surviving life together?
