I've never heard of a song that talks about this type of story but if there is one it would be a Country/Western song.
It too bad you're not a teenager...at least if you were a teen you could use ignorance as a reason for not using protection.
I don't want to brow-beat you at all, but with so many ways to prevent pregnancy on the market there's no reason anyone should get pregnant by accident. The only reason the pill doesn't work is if the woman doesn't take them. The only reason a condom doesn't work is if the man doesn't put one on. And on top of that, they now have the morning-after pill.
These days, if a woman gets pregnant she should be denied child support from the father. The woman is always - always in charge in this situation. Always.
Still, don't fret over an ex-boyfriend. Have a very healthy and happy baby. The two of you will be fine - song or no song.

Questions like this always seem to hit a nerve . I guess you know by now that he did NOT get you pregnant, you did this together . As an adult you are hopefully somewhat established in life to cope with such a surprise . It can be a blessed event depending on your attitude . A little baby is a wonderful thing . You have a new meaning in your life and a reason to knuckle down and be responsible . Carry it to term and don't have an abortion. It is murder and a mortal sin. Just figure that wherever you will eat, the baby will eat too .
Make sure your boyfriend's name is on the birth certificate. Have a DNA test done right away as he is sure to say that it isn't his . Happens all the time , it is no reflection on your character, it is just that you picked a piece of crap and life is like that . File for child support and don't let him talk you out of it .
Good Luck to you .

Sorry to hear your news, but it happens baby girl. I missed the question though. At 29 you really should have not let this happen because you should know better. Do what you gotta do for you and baby that's all there is to do. Also, if he was your ex what were you doing sleeping with him. You obviously broke up with him for a reason. And he did not get you pregnant you both got you pregnant, you were an active participant now be an active Mommy.

Hi,
First of all, you are going to be a mum. My sincere congratulations. May the baby bring you joy and may him arrive to this world healthy and fine. A new pregnancy is always good news for everybody, and should be good news for you too.
About him, I don't know if you have just told him he's going to become a father, but, anyway, I would ask you to hold your horses. Paternity is really really scary for us as, we, men, like to control things and pregnancy is something we cannot control, you see? So far I am assumming he just heard the news and he's scared. He may come back. Every man has certain morals.
If you know any of his friends (you should) then encourage them to be happy about the news. Share it with joy, not with fear and they will congratulate him instead of saying "you're..." well, you know.
If he really abandons you with the "problem", proceed legally, without mercy. The only don't here is forcing a wedding. That would be really stupid.
Congratulations again and good luck... mum.

I am a single mother, and it saved my life. My ex-fiance left me. We were going to get married, I had the ring and everything. You would think he loved me and wanted to stay. But that's not always the case.
Your ex apparently doesn't love or respect you. If he thinks he's playing "billy-bad-***" by leaving you he's wrong. It makes him the biggest most gutless, spineless coward on earth. It takes a lot of courage, strength, responsibility, and patience to be a parent especially when you're doing it alone. People that want to say you should know better, forget them. It happens. People make mistakes. Ask anybody if they've ever made a mistake (big or little it doesn't matter). If they say they haven't, they're liars. "To err is human, to forgive is divine" Please don't abort. If you think you're completely incapable of raising a child, consider adoption. It's scary being a single mom, but it also has it's rewards. Just hold out, and pray.

I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope that you carry that baby. I say love that baby, sure it's better to have two parents, but if one doesn't want to be there and the child would not be getting the love from the parent, then it's for the best that he left. I hope everything works out for you. I don't know where you live but there is this awesome website called Mamasource, here is the link for the website http://www.mamasource.com/join/welcome it is a nationwide side it's free to join and once you do it connects you with other moms in your area.

there is not something you're able to do i'm afraid that's down to your boyfriend to awaken and be a guy. If he's uncertain if the little one is his then why marry her, he desires to get a DNA executed as quickly as little one arrives. whether he doesnt marry her i might heavily query your destiny with this boy, you relied on him and he slept together with his ex at the back of your returned, is that this a foundation to construct your relationship on besides? Plus his ex knew that he had a woman buddy on the time and subsequently if he's stupid adequate to marry her and she or he's stupid adequate to marry him then they deserve one yet another. You sound an exquisite individual who's waiting to forgive yet while his acquaintances are good and he's telling them he nevertheless loves then you he could under no circumstances have long gone there interior the 1st place. flow on and discover somebody who merits you.
