The eyes are the window to the soul. Look there.
Seriously, every living thing *is* a soul.

We all have souls, there are some dark souls and some light souls, some misguided souls who think they are doing the right thing, that doesn't make them dark, just trying to reflect on their souls in their own way.
But, yea, if we are moving thinking beings, I personally believe we have souls.
But I have been known to play Devil's advocate from time to time and quote the scene from Planet of the Apes where the chimp leader looks in Wahlberg's mouth and screams, "Show me your soul, where is it?"
So, you want sceintific proof of a soul, why don't you be the first to prove one exists. Personally, I would LOVE to see scientists that think outside of the friggin box occasionally and try to prove things that seem nuts. Remember the scientist that discovered germs, they thought he was batty!!!

According to the Ancient Vedic literature (which are the original books sent by God with the Creation) Every living entity has a soul. WE are not this body, IE; race, color, nationality, religion, mind, intellect, job, etc. WE are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die only the body dies (which is just a vehicle for the soul in the material world. This world is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the Souls come here. They envied Gods position so He gave them this place to try to be Him. But no one can be Him fully. We have all the qualities of God but just in minute quantity. Just like the drop of water in the ocean has all the qualities of the ocean but never become the big ocean. But when we are done with all our nonsense then we begin to question our existence and after transmigrating through all different species of life we finally become exhausted and ask for the process to return to our real home. For more info go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells the purpose of life. and details on the soul

We all have a soul. Whether it is a good soul or not is the thing. Look at the way they treat people and even how they treat themselves. Do they treat people like they would want to be treated? There are several things to stand back and look at.

The soul is nothing but man made ideas. It is no different then the idea of a God. This crap can't be proven becuase it is pure fantasy!
If it wasn't fantasy then we should by now have at least some shread of evidence to support it. There is none!

Is he/she a conservative republican? I think you know what follows:)) Seriously though , folks. Every human has a soul, metaphysically speaking. Whether one acts from that level of his/her being is another matter.
Usually, the kinder and more heart-centered a person, and the less selfish, greedy, arrogant, and ego ridden, the more "soul connected".
Examples: from our current leadership--none is soul oriented. That was easy, eh? :))))

We ARE souls.
Definition: In the Bible, “soul” is translated from the Hebrew ne′phesh and the Greek psy·khe′. Bible usage shows the soul to be a person or an animal or the life that a person or an animal enjoys. To many persons, however, “soul” means the immaterial or spirit part of a human being that survives the death of the physical body. Others understand it to be the principle of life. But these latter views are not Bible teachings.
What does the Bible say that helps us to understand what the soul is?
Gen. 2:7: “Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.” (Notice that this does not say that man was given a soul but that he became a soul, a living person.) (The part of the Hebrew word here rendered “soul” is ne′phesh. KJ, AS, and Dy agree with that rendering. RS, JB, NAB read “being.” NE says “creature.” Kx reads “person.”)
1 Cor. 15:45: “It is even so written: ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” (So the Christian Greek Scriptures agree with the Hebrew Scriptures as to what the soul is.) (The Greek word here translated “soul” is the accusative case of psy·khe′. KJ, AS, Dy, JB, NAB, and Kx also read “soul.” RS, NE, and TEV say “being.”)
1 Pet. 3:20: “In Noah’s days . . . a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.” (The Greek word here translated “souls” is psy·khai′, the plural form of psy·khe′. KJ, AS, Dy, and Kx also read “souls.” JB and TEV say “people”; RS, NE, and NAB use “persons.”)
Gen. 9:5: “Besides that, your blood of your souls [or, “lives”; Hebrew, from ne′phesh] shall I ask back.” (Here the soul is said to have blood.)
Josh. 11:11: “They went striking every soul [Hebrew, ne′phesh] that was in it with the edge of the sword.” (The soul is here shown to be something that can be touched by the sword, so these souls could not have been spirits.)
Where does the Bible say that animals are souls?
Gen. 1:20, 21, 24, 25: “God went on to say: ‘Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls* . . . ’ And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. . . . And God went on to say: ‘Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds . . . ’ And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind.” (*In Hebrew the word here is ne′phesh. Ro reads “soul.” Some translations use the rendering “creature[s].”)

Every human being has a soul: This is what God says:
Ezekiel 18:4
Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins shall die.
-And that means, the soul who continues in sin without being forgiven through Jesus Christ, will die, (second death which is hell)

If they are a person... there is no soul... Period.
Souls are simply a misinterpretation of consciousness due to our inability to imagine any lack of it. We have no way of understanding what it is like to not ave any consciousness whatsoever because when consciousness is taken out of the equation we lose the individual completely.
There is no evidence to support the idea of the soul. There is however lots of evidence to support that consciousness is an emergent function of a living brain. When the brain dies so does the consciousness and with it, the person. No soul necessary unless someone is so afraid of non-existence that they have to invent the idea to comfort themselves.
