Yeeeaaa that's happened to me. I didn't feel right about it but you can't tell your heart what to do. I never got over him & oobviously he still has not gotten over me cause we are talking again....although both single at the time which is good.
I've known & loved him since freshman year of high school. He knew & apparently had the same feelings but never admitted cause he was too shy. We ended up losing contact for a few years after graduating. He found a girl & was engaged & I found a bf but apparently we still thought about each other. Things didn't work out & we broke up w/ our significant others & ended up randomly running into each other after not being in contact for 3 years. We ended up dating a while, broke up (complications, long story), stopped talking to each other again, found someone else, still thought about each other, broke up w/ our significant others (or got dumped in my case) & then he just contacted me a few weeks ago & we're talking again. We're trying to work things out & are like a friggin boomerang I swear.....go away yet keep coming back to each other!!

Yes, i think alot of people experience that feeling. U have to realize that its o.k that u may still love that person, but u have to be fair and respect that new person and tell them about it. U can love the old and new but u have to be open about it to yourself and the new person in your life.

and i'm pretty sure everyone has..
when i was still in love with my ex..
he ran off with my ex best friend..
and i still loved him.
But anyways
either your new partner is not the "one" for you
or your still hanging on to hope with your ex.
its all up to you of what you want and what makes you happy.

I am currently married and still love my first boyfriend. I am slowly ending it by realizing it is only to know what might of been.

yeah i have and let me tell you it sucks. cause you are thinking all the time in that person and it's kinda awkward being with somebody else when you still love your ex

it ended with me and the person i was still in love with i just followed my heart i figuered that there must have been a reason i still loved him so i did and were happily together

Yeah! and it feels so bad specially when they see you face to face, and they have their other partner next to them.
But I guess there's nothing to do unless that person decides for him or herself to get back with you.
