Ok so I have Limewire and I was looking for the file where my songs were so I could put them on my MP3 player and I couldn't find it. Where is it?

It was possible that file was infected and your virus protection software was kind enough to remove it, so it wouldn't spread on your computer. One of the many things that can happen by using limewire and it's many other cousins like it.

I wouldn't be putting it out there that you were downloading possibly copyrighted songs from LimeWire.

i believe its (off the top of my head):
C:\program files\limewire\my share data
or something like that.
or go to START -> SEARCH -> MUSIC and push search. that will locate any song file on your computer and give you the directory to get there.

if you know the full file name click on start button > search to search drive c: for it
