I'm very active in my church, and there is this guy there that I really like. But I am WAY to shy to say anything. I do want to let him know sometime, but I just can't pull myself around to doing it. What do I do?

Do not write a not, that is grade school. Being shy can be cute but at the same time "A closed mouth does not get fed". If you don't tell him he may never know. Face your fear and tell him. If you get shot down it is not the end of the world. Pick yourself up and try again. It get easier ever time. Not saying that that will happen. Good Luck.

If you want something to happen between you two, you're going to have to overcome your shyness, around him at least. Just keep talking to him for a few weeks and when things are going well, tell him how you feel, and ask if he feels the same way.
Just to warn you, if he doesn't like you back, things could be awkward between the two of you for a while, but if he likes you enough (as a friend), things will come back to normal.

Well if you dont do anything he will never notice you. At least by trying you give yourself a chance.
The best way to handle this is to invite him to a party or somewhere else fun where there are lots of friends and other people (but dont make a big deal about it when you invite him). This way neither of you is the center of attention. This will loosen things up and you will get to know each other better, and things may happen (at least you tried).

Well, if you talk to him at church, why dont you find out what kinds of things hes into and ask him if hed like to hang out sometime, just to see if hes interested in you too. If he is then you know you dont really have anything to lose and can bring it up casually. If all else fails write him a note. Then atleast you dont have to worry about saying anything to his face.

Would you rather tell him and find out he does not feel the same way, or never tell him and then find out he did feel the same way?
Oh, it's so easy for me to say things like that, but I am a big chicken, too. My real advice is to flirt with him a bit and see if he responds in a way that tells you he might be interested in you, too.

Write his name, first and last. on a piece of good paper (like nice stationary) in the shape of a circle. Then, stab it with a needle or a pin. And he'll call. if you want to up the ante, light candle and wait to do it on a Friday.

hey,
rejection is one of the hardest things to get over once it happens. something that helps is boosting your self esteem. dont be afraid to tell him how you feel. if you dont you'll never know. Jesus will help you get through this. If it's in his will for this guy to be the one then it will happen, but just remember there a millions of guys out there. one is bound to right for you. Have your friend tell his friend and then do whatever it takes to accidentally end up alone with him. Seriously if the dude knows you are into him he will want to act on it but he won't if there are other people around. How old are you anyway?

Give him hints that you like him. That's the way I try to find out if a guy likes me. For example, touch his arm, or his back. Not slutty like but just in a flirty way when your talking or something. That always work, just try it and you'll see.
