Females tend to stop growing by age 18.
Males tend to stop growing by age 21.
So yes you still have time to grow. Secondly, you get all your genes basically from your grandparents. It is the way DNA works. So look at the height of your grandparents on both sides and that should give you an idea. Most of your make up will be given to you through you parents, of course, but the genes are given to them from their parents making your genes truly coming from your grandparents.

Women reach their maximum height at the time of their first menses for the most part. However, some may add an inch or so after depending on when they first get their period. The ends of your long bones (the epiphysis) close by the time you finish puberty. So you are probably as tall as you are going to get, which is about 4" taller than the average US female. Don't be greedy.

It is true that females stop growing by 18, so you do have time to grow. Girls DO NOT stop growing when they get their first period. There growth may slow down a bit but it doesn't stop until around the age of 18.
I think drinking milk and eating vitamins will also help. You get your genes from your grandparents. So your kids, kids will get their genes from you.

if your father is six foot and you are already taller than your mom, and you are sixteen, then yeah, you might reach 5'10", you have the genes for it. But, let me urge you to be more concerned with who you are rather than how you look.
