she is in kindergarten and any papers that come home are correct. its when she is here and writes at home. the teachers have not mentioned anything to us about her writing. she is above average in everything. her vocabulary is that of a 7 or 8 yr old she is only 5 and can read a book she sounds letter out and can also spell so i dont think she has dyslexia. but concerned it maybe something.

Has she been in school to be taught the "right" way? If not, I'm not too concerned. If she has been in school I'd be very concerned! Talk to her teachers to see what's been done to help correct it. They should be asking your permission for an evaluation soon if they haven't already! Some letters backwards are normal at this age, lots (or all) are not.

Does she do it all the time or occasionally? My son did the very same thing, say every third paper he wrote, he also would write like this: ih ym eman si samohT (Hi my name is Thomas)
His teacher said it was normal. I never checked with the doctor and by the middle of first grade it completely went away. He is in fifth grade now and an "A" student.

if she is left handed this is normal,I did the same thing when her age and learned from my mother how to do it the right way, keep the paper but show her the correct way to print her letters. don't allow anyone to change which hand she writes with, will complicate things by messing up her thinking.

Isn't that known as a form of dyslexia?

Not normal. There may be a specific neurological problem; ask your doctor at her next checkup.
