Hello! Im new here! But lemme go to the question:

I bought WC 3 along with The Frozen THrone Expansion. Im trying to play, but when i doubleclick the game icon, the game freezes my whole PC and i can only see it in the traybar! it shows only the Windows traybar and black screen. I suspect this is a graphics card problem. Heres my PC composition:

CPU Intel Pentium 4 (2,41 GhZ)
Windows XP Pro edition Service Pack 2
Nvidia GeForce Graphics card 7600 GT 256 MB
RAM : 768 MB

please answer me! Thx a lot :D

Hi Your computer spec seem to on par, and you really shouldn't have any problem running it. One thing you can check is your monitor resolution? also, the monitors refresh rate. As default Warcraft run on a 75hz, some monitors that are higher such as the 24inch dells, only runs on 60hz, so you can go search for a patch to fix that problem.secondly the most common error is the driver, redownload the driver, or if so redownload an older driver. in most cases it may solve the problem. You should really have no problem playing the game what so ever, so take my advice and check and see if it works, post updates if it doesn't then we can go on with other steps. provide what type of monitor you are using as well.

Howzit!!

The graphics card and system requirements are all good... You just probably need to update the graphic card drivers. You can find them at your graphic card manufacuturer...

That should sort the problem out...
Good luck

Close all programs and maybe get rid of some stuff on your harddrive. It may be it doesnt have enough memory.
