If you experience something many times more powerful than sex, how do you relate to "ordinary" people?

News stories indicate that Letterman remains single because the 'afterglow' of entertaining an international audience makes sex seem boring in comparison. Add to that the inherent difficulties in a relationship and the relative few in TV and what's the draw?

Inventors & scientists such as Edison and Einstein gravitated so strongly toward that trance-like state of concentration that - well, rumors are - their marriages suffered. The mental pleasure was simply many times better than anything physical.

With a global population at 30 times what Mother Nature ever intended, what's left to sweep away any man or woman who's experienced something more powerful? I mean, I get enough flak over not having had kids. But, then, why work for crackers when gourmet 'everything' is right there for the thinking?

That seems cool, Sometimes when i'm deep into somthing, nothing but what im deep into seems to matter.
My hunger will go away, i rarely need to go to bathroom, and time zooms by.
Like some books i've read, and games i've played does this also.

I know sombody who possibly has the effect you are talking about from math problems, he is a math genious, and does it almost constantly. You can tell that He would rather be doing math than anything at that time, especially when he snaps if you bother him enough to be distrafcted.

But im not sure its on the letterman/einstine level

then they have never experienced real sex trust me there's NOTHING more powerful than sex with the right person with respect and feelings involved you get blown away and even money , power or whatever can achieve that.
