I have dated girls of other race, I date girls of various races and I will continue dating firls of other race... until I get married.
Why? Because I'm a genetic cocktail myself! white ancestors, asian ancestors, black ancestors, hispanic ancestors... Who can still be racist in a globalized 21st century?

I'd like to point out that even when you're a "Minority" as i am people who date outside their race call men like me nazis because i don't believe in mixing and I think my people would be better off if we didn't. Well we're not the ones pushing for a one race world where all the races evolution produced go extinct and then we just have one brown melting pot race with superficial culture. I actually want there to be every race still existing in the next hundreds of years. You IR people who claim to love diversity actually hate it. You want everybody to be the same I've even heard people who advocate mixing say that if we all ****** outside our race racism would disappear. Yeah tell that to Puerto Rico.

My brother and I are products of an interracial relationship, so if we couldn't marry outside our "race", could we date anyone? Would we be allowed out by ourselves? How can I identify with a single racial category if I'm such a mix?
Members of both my parents' families were against it due to race (paternal grandmother and maternal uncles), but I don't think race has anything to do with the state of their marriage (it hasn't been that great in 20 years).
It turns out that my brother's fiance and my girlfriend are both caucasian, but we've both dated other races before. He has an asian ex-girlfriend, and I have an Pakistani ex-girlfriend. Race never mattered to us, and our parents would have heard about it real quick if they had ever said anything racist to us.

well first of all let me say that i am mixed black and white. so yes i do date outside my race. i feel like since i am mixed myself it means i can date whoever i want.
but to answer your question i think many people are afraid to date outside their race in this country. some of it is because of personal preference. but some of it is racism or fear about what others, including family will say. in actuality the only problem with interracial dating is the people around it who have a problem with it. love doesnt know any skin color, its people who make a big deal about skin color.

I dated outside my race quite a bit. The man I married happens to be my same race, but that's not why we married. We're raising a child of another race.

Hello. No, I don"t think there is anything wrong with dating outside of your race, we're all humans aren't we? And of course another race from yours, means another way of life, another culture, etc, ...all the better to fond a unique relationship full of discovery and interests. I'm from the island of Tahiti int he Pacific, but I dated black men, Puerto ricans, and caucasian...and each guy was interesting because of their difference in appearance.
Racism is cruel, we were all created the same way right?
Date a person who will respect you and love you back.

I would not date outside my race, but only because I'm exclusively attracted to white guys. Other than that, I have absolutely no quarrel with non-white guys. They just don't interest me in that sense.

I don't understand why people judge others based on their race, but it happens. Personally I will date/marry whomever I so choose, no matter his race and without regard to criticism people give me. I think people should be with whomever they want to be with without judging their sexuality, race, religion, etc.
