After I shower, my face (just around my nose and mouth) gets really really dry.....Any recommendation? Maybe a good face wash brand? I have to say tho, every face wash I try always give me this dryness afterwards. Of course I use moisturizers afterwards, but I was hoping I can get away without using moisturizers.

My children have very sensitive and very dry skin all over. I tried many diffrent types of moisturizers but ended up having to put it on several times during the day. But this worked great:
I bathe them with Dove (lotion soap), then use a fragrance free dry skin healing lotion like Jergens or St Ives, and then finally Aquaphor (Eucerin brand). After about a week of this routine there was dramatic improvement, now I can go up to 2 days without the whole lotion ordeal, and their skin has improved a lot.

It sounds like your dry skin could be due to excessive nose/mouth cleaning. Have you recently had a cold/allergies? It may simply be due to all that tissue wiping.

after when you take a shower, always pat dry your face, nose and mouth. and use lotion for the dry skin when you are finish. i dont know about your lip, but alot of people use chapstick for their lips to prevent it from drying. for more info, email me at: thedramaofhistory@yahoo.com asap.

You can get a small bottle of glycerine, I got mine at CVS. Mix a small amount with some water or into your moisturizer, as long as it is "diluted", and it will soften your skin.

maybe you are using the wrong soap, l suggest that you don't use soap at all and maybe use a gentle scrub or a cream wash. and if that fails use cleansing wipes
