The best bang for the buck is the Hyundai Santa Fe and they just introduced the all-new Hyundai Veracruz(seats up to 7). They are competitively priced and carry the best warranty. The warranty is 5yr/60000 miles bumper to bumper with a 10yr/100000 mile warranty on the powertrain. An new Santa Fe GLS 4x4 starts @ about $21k after incentives and they actually hold their value. Santa Fe owners are very loyal because they are so easy to maintain. They don't break! Anyway, I hope this helps and good luck!

Well we run fleets of vehicles. The over all best bang for you buck in cost new and cent per mile operation is the Ford Escape. The Foreign ones are nice but cost more and in the long run do not cost any less to maintain. In fact Brake parts on the Nissan and Honda are much more expensive. It really depends on how long you plan on keeping it. The Nissan and Honda will hold their value better but the operation cost will be greater the the Ford

Without a doubt, the Honda Pilot! Unless you think it's too big to be a "midsize". It is a quality vehicle that will give you many carefree miles and hold it's value well!

I been shopping around, and I think I've settled on the Honda Pilot. You get more for the buck with Honda. Low maintenance. Had a Honda Accord for 5 yrs with -0- trouble. Honda is great!

I like the Lexus RX. It is actually comparable to the Pilot when you start adding up all the extras.
