Absolutely its right. I used to do some volenteer work in a Special Ed. class room, and those kids are some of the most amazing people in the wold and they will never have all of the opportunities that other people who are not in their condition. Some of the best people I know will never be able to fully take care of themselves and they some of the smartest kids in the world. For example one of the students, could tell you the sports statistics of any baseball, or hockey player from the past 25 years I mean that kid is really good with numbers. Another one was really good at art, it was abstract art work but it was really good. I mean those kids are amazing. And I think those programs need all the help they can get. Because those kids really are a handfull, but at the same time they are worth every minute of it.

Please as a condition of contribution ask for an accounting of where the money goes. So many so called help organizations are not helping. Billions of dollars are going to various charities and churches. Please make sure the money is going to the actual cause you intend.

Example: You give to Breast Cancer. Instead of going to patients care it is going to education and advertising.

You give to Cerebral Palsy and rather than help the people with cerebral Palsy live more comfortable daily lives they are putting the money into entertainment of people with Cerebral Palsy.

When I called the scoliosis foundation they put me in contact with another mother of 2 children with scoliosis. Rather than defend my daughters right to physical therapy. Or even necessary wheelchair modification.

I don't like where the money ends up going and people need to request a print out of exactly where the money is being used.

If you live in the US, your tax dollars are already required to do this.

The ADA and IDEA guarantee the same educational access to all children no matter what level of functioning. No Child left behind (or maybe it should be called, no tax dollar left behind) just reinforces this whole educational industrial complex.
