If you know what branch of the service he was/is in you may be able to ask them if he is active or retired. You might be able to get some information through that branch of the service, but it may not help. B/C will show what the profession of the father is, that is what you are talking about right?

You must be Trigger, from 'Only Fools and Horses...' From what I've been told by someone in the know, that wouldn't be allowed on a real birth certificate. Either the father admits paternity, or it isn't entered and just left blank.

You need your mother's co operation, on this one. Ask her who he might be,,get all the names,, trace them down, and see if you look like one of them, and ask for a paternity test.Tell the mom, you want to know, and have the right to know. I hope you find him!

i was adopted and on seeing my adoption papers,irealised my father was a Priest. it said FATHER UNKNOWN.... but it never bothered me, iloved my adoptrd mum and dad as i suppose any other kid would,and ive never wanted to know who my [real[ parents were.
