If your talking about greenhouse gasses. It effects us by making the temperature warmer. It has gotten considerable hotter were I live over the last 20 years. And in Oklahoma were in a bad drought (part of the state) And the town of 100,000 were I live is predicted to run out of water in the next three years. So because it's getting hotter it's drying out the lake that we survive on, its going to make everyone move to another climate where greenhouse gasses won't effect so much.

Al Gore and his ego say the ocean levels will rise 20 feet in 32 years. The consensus of the geologists is 1 foot in a few centuries. I believe the latter.

many things will happen if global warming happens including:
* a rise in average temperaures on earth (for example, it is estimated that Australia may be 2 degrees celcius warmer in about 27 years)
* there will be more frequent and fiercer tropical storms
* the melting of the polar ice sheets, which will raise the sea levels
* destruction of cool and temperature ecosystems
*there will be problems in agriculture
hope this helped have fun with ur project :D

The effects of CO2 on the climates of Earth are often misunderstood and misrepresented. Here is a website with some definitive, modern, accurate, apolitical data.

ok, so its very complicated, but il try. so, we humans are spilling millions of bounds of co2(carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere, and the more co2 there is in the universe, the more heat that is trapped from the suns rays. so, our atmosphere heats up, and our ice caps start to melt, and then, there's less ice to reflect the suns rays, so the melting only accelerates faster and our earth heats up more and more. so now that the earth is all heated up, it will affect the growth of crops, animal migration from all species, and it may cause heat waves and flooding. also, since the water is warmer, we have worse storms. i.e. hurricanes (katrina). so basically we are screwing everything up. hope that my melodrama explination helped!
