My 37 year old friend, who has been unemployed due to laziness..I've practically lead her to jobs that she's very qualified for (college degree and breathing. She has a degree..at times the breathing is questionable) has been seeing a 57 year old blind man who thinks she should apply for disablity and eventually marry him. I've never met the guy; her parents don't want her bringing any boyfriends around for at least 6 months into the relationship, so her 63 year old mom hasn't met him either. She's never married/no kids. He's been married several times and has grandchildren. What can these two have in common? Does this sound strange to anyone else?

Anyone can apply for disablity. That doesn't mean she's going to qualify. I've known her for 20 years and we just happen to hang out occasionally and talk on the phone some.

...and this woman is your friend honey? What kind of a sane woman of any kind does this kinda crap for anyways? She needs a good therapist darling...and so will you if you keep hanging out with lazy scoundrels like her darling. Apply for disability huh?.....what silliness truly!

I say at 37 yrs old she is old enough to make up her own mind as to who she wants to date or marry. If she can apply for disability there is more wrong with her then just what you claim is laziness. A good friend of mine is married to a man almost 20 yrs older then she is they have 4 kids together she has never worked and she is happy that is what matters..She is happy doesnt matter what the friends think or what the family thinks. If they love her they will accept him into their family if they get married just like my friend Shannon's family did.

if u love the person and they love u back then its all good!
dont be afraid of what the public has 2 say
