I have a boil that came back positive for strep, is this contagious, and can it cause more boils?

Yes, and yes. Once people have one, they seem prone to get more. So, make sure you finish all your antibiotics. And, any oozing liquid is what's contagious, so don't share towels or whatever else can lead to cross contamination. It's probably MRSA if it's staph. you can find info on it almost anywhere. And you probably mean staph, not strep.

Strep is very contagious.

yes it is contagious but u sholud b a little bit carefull about its ooziness clean it with antiseptic solution and use antibiotic.
