After sex I have brown blood in my underwear-why could this be? It's not very much but I am curious as to why I have this.

You need to see your gynecologist to have it investigated but it could be simply cervical erosion, a totally normal condition where the cells grow out of the cervix. This condition is caused by sexual intercouse, tampons and the insertion of a speculum so almost all females have it at one time or another...and usually frequently. In fact, most females aren't aware they have it because they have no symptoms and the doctor cauterizes it with special swabs during their routine gyn exam.

Either way, it needs checked out because other causes for spotting after sex include:
endometriosis
polyps
fibroids
yeast infection
STDs
infection
cancer

See your gynecologist just to be sure that it isn't anything to worry about.
