There are 4 plate races two at Daytona and two at Talladega. There is the Daytona 500 to start the year the 2nd weekend in Feb and the 4th of July weekend there for the 400. Talladega has 2 races as well, 499 at the end of April then another one in the fall in Oct. which I believe is going to be under the lights this year

Are you asking where there done at or what they are? Taladega and Daytona is where they do them. There basicly a plate that goes on the front of the car that restricts airflow to the engine. Slowing the car a bit. Makeing the car work harder to go faster. Jeff Gordon is one who does very well on restrictor plate races. But you can also go to nascar.com and get alot of info about what it is and why they do it. Hope that helps.
