What they do is remove a little bit of skin from the roof of your mouth. It sounds worse than it is. It's like if you had something hot and burned the roof of your mouth. All they do is remove it and place it around the gum area of your teeth that need to be contoured (shaped). They will freeze the roof of your mouth as well. No worries

It is easy for us to say don't be scared.
But hey we're not having it done.
And a dentist chair is certainly not my favourite seating arrangement!
As others before have said this is not a big or long procedure.
And your mouth will be all numb.
If your still worried about it, maybe your Mum or Dad could go in with you for some hand-holding and moral support.
Take care.

If you want just wait untill you call to make the appointment and say I amm suposed toget my gumms shaved what are you goning to do is it painfull good luck

Don't be. It's a cosmetic procedure done all the time. It's creates a nicer looking gumline to go with your newly straightened teeth. I'm sure you will have a great smile when everything is completed.
