there is no best and worst place for any tattoo on any given person. i don't believe in masculine and feminine tattoo placement. i think that wherever you chose to have your tattoo placed is totally based on what you think looks the best. some places hurt more than others and some places are more feasable for some people than others but just go with what feels right.

The best place is between the shoulder blades on your back, always look stunning in a backless dress. Another great place is above the actual breast, so people just get a mysterious slip of it when wearing a ballet-style shirt or a V-neck. The absolute worst places for a woman to get a tattoo is the middle lower back and the ankle. My friends and I often call these the "tramp stamp" areas, and you usually find butterflies, stars, fairies, or Disney characters there.

It's really your own personal opinion. Some people think the tramp stamp (above butt crack) is overdone. But I just got one there and for me, it was the most practical. I didn't want one where it would show frequently (ankle, shoulder, etc.) or where it would stretch a lot with age (boob, stomach, etc.). So my lower back seemed to fit both of those categories. It's really a preference on where you see yourself in 10, 30, 50 years (job, kids, etc.) AND what you want it to look like then (stretched, saggy).

Best place: Wrist!!! If it's something small it looks cute and can be covered easy with a watch if needed. I really don't like big tattoo's on women i think they look cheap and tacky. Small tattoo's on the hip also look cute and sexy.
Worst place: Tramp Stamp 110% they are too common and they look terrible. Nothing worse than seeing loads of silly meaningless lower back tattoo's on women everytime they bend or sit down.

I don't normally care for tattoos on women, but if they insist on getting one, I would suggest either the ankle or a "tramp stamp" on the lower back.

truthfully wherever you want. its your body. but if your talking pain wise ive got 4 leg, lower back on the side and all of the top part of my arm. they didnt hurt at all. the one on my stomach went over my ribs a little and that stung a bit.

This answer is subjective and everyone will probably say something different.
Its not so much the location, but really the quality of the work. I don't care where it is, if it sucks, it sucks.

best: hip, ankle, foot?
worst: upper arm, face, knuckles, or calf.
I know there is nothing wrong with them there, bu I personally do not like them.

worst is a tramp stamp (just above the buttocks). best is the inner ankle, for some reason it's sexy on a woman
