We are not born anything. Morals and beliefs are learned. The only thing a baby cares about is being fed and dry. They could care less what you or anybody else believes or thinks.

"An infant does not have the intellecutal capability to be an athiest nor a theist."
So, I guess that means there is no such thing as a Christian child then, right? Face it buddy - we are all born with no beleif in God. If you NEVER expose a person to your God, do you really beleive they would invent that crap all on their own accord?

Well it could be explained by science. There are theories that the image of dragons came from a combination of all of man's early fears. So why couldn't it be a theory that since early man couldn't explain rain or stars that he thought it was the workings of a higher being and that it has retained in some peoples brain wiring and that atheists are people who have no such wiring?

Because religion is man-made and taught. A Baby did not believe in Zeus either, but people believed in Zeus at the time and taught the baby to believe. Just like the religions now, one day they will not exist...

Does the infant on day 1 believe in God. Its a yes no question.
If the infant does not believe, does this fit the definition of atheism?
Regardless IQ, or intelligence, this infant, does it believe?

Are you born a republican?
You are born with no knowledge of politics just as you are born with no knowledge of religion.
Anybody that does not practice and has no knowledge of a religion could be considered an atheist.

Of course we are born atheist. This is undeniable.
Want to prove it? Go have a kid. Lock him in a closet from infancy. Teach him the english language but never discuss god or religion. When he's an adult, ask him about god.
Do you think feral children know about god?

Better yet: If your god were so loving, why would he allow us to be born as atheists (which indeed we are)? What if we never encounter someone who will indoctrinate us? Does he burn those who have never heard of Jesus Christ, even though they are supposedly his children?

The moment we question what is truly good or what is truly bad, we have conceived of a Higher Moral Authority.

As they do not have the capacity to develop a belief in any god, they must then lack a belief in god(s), and so would technically be atheists.
