Yes it does. But is it a healthy way to lose weight...? Not so much. Adderall is addictive.. and I wouldn't suggest taking it just to lose weight. Not a smart choice. Even though diet and exercise suck, that's the way to do it, stay away from the drugs you don't even need.

Yes i'm on it it does supress your appatitite ALOT which is un healthy for your body you do need to take a higher dose for that to happen. But if you don't have a.d.d you might get a real bad headache or your heart will speed up really fast.
Good luck it works within minutes so you should know how your going to react. Start off with maby a 10mg pill first to see how you feel I have worked my way up to 40 but remmeber if you are taking the xr version it is time realesed so it kicks in a few times thrue out the day you'll notice when it does..I just have to keep making myself eat ior else I get a real bad stomach ach...Good luck I wish you the best...You can e-mail with any more questions on this or other a.d.d meds I have tryed ALOT...My children are also on them for a.d.d.

Adderall is a stimulant medication that will reduce your appetite like any other stimulant but should be used only for its intended purpose, not as a diet pill. Stimulants are very serious medications and if misused can have serious long term side effects.

Technically yes. It is an amphetamine which works as an appetite suppresent. You have to take it in higher doses than is regularly prescribed, but the possiblility of addiction would be there. Just excercise and eat right. Those two ways are sure things and you won't damage your health and possibly be addicted to drugs.

I know someone who is an adult and takes it for ADD and they are overweight. I think in children it does. It makes them lose their appetites.
I think the side effects would be too much when there are much safer drugs for losing weight.

Not that much. It's not intended for that purpose and if you abuse it, it may have dangerous consequences. It was developed for ADD and ADHD.
