i recently made a book of my photos using blurb.com and i really like the way it came out. you have to download their software onto your computer, then you create your book. once you're done, you upload the completed book back to the blurb.com web site and then order a copy of it. you don't have to pay for anything until you order your book. it's a bit pricey--about $30 with shipping for a 40-page book (sized 8x10"). but the quality is nice and they have a lot of different design templates you can mix and match--so you could have a book that's mostly visual, mostly text, or a mix of both. i just checked out their site and it looks like they have a new 7x7" book size that's a bit cheaper.

one note: if you use blurb, take your time to preview the layout and your spelling very carefully, and print out a mock-up of the book to make sure it's organized the way you want it to be. you definitely don't want to order it and then find out that you made a mistake once you receive it in the mail.

I ordered a few brag books for Christmas presents from Shutterfly. They turned out beautifully! Bright, vibrant colors and the paper quality was excellent. I was very impressed.
