Hi, I dated a guy 10 years younger than myself starting when I was 33 and he 23 - the sex was awesome to be sure, but we also were able to connect outside of the bedroom. We had fun doing all sorts of things that didn't involve sex, so I won't insult you by saying your relationship is all about the great sex that I know you are having. However, marriage is more than sex and outings. Will this young man be able to relate to and withstand the pressures of marriage? When the sex dies down, can you have a converstion with him and know he understands? What secrets have you shared with each other that you haven't ever told another living soul? What about income? What kind of living does he make - you can't support him forever. Does he even have a checking account? Is he responsible with his money? Does he pay his bills, what's his credit like? What's the probability that he can apply for, and be granted, a loan to buy a house? What about kids? Do you have them already? Does he? If not does he want them? If he does can you give them to him? And most importantly, when you are 60 and he's 41 (mid life) will he still think you are beautiful, will his love still be true? Those are the things you should be asking YOURSELF because only you will have to live with the choices you are making. Things are great now, and he's all strung out on your over-powering love, but look past the steamy nights and the cute, loving things he does - to the future. What does a future with this young man look like? Good luck on whatever YOU decide.

Age is just a number. If you both feel like you are compatible and you really think you could spend the rest of your life together, then do it. In Biblical times it was so normal for an older man to marry a younger woman. This was ok then, and it is ok now. Do not walk away from someone who cares for you because of a trivial thing as age. If you do you will regret it very much. If this man really cares for you and loves you, and you really think that no matter what he would be there for you, then go for it. I say yes.

You say you "look perfect" together, I am sure that your not basing your love and the rest of your life on the way you "look together". Seriously, at times age does matter. It matters 100%. I am a woman who prefers older men. But only because I have no desire for more kids and I have goals with my career and such, but look at your long term not the "now"
What are his goals, how does he feel about family, retirement, a secure future not just sex, sex is about an hour a day or whatever (HA HA) but can you live with each other for the other 23hours of the day? Anyhow, food for thought good luck to you

Being young doesn't mean soone is immature or less bright than you. Plus you guys love each other. So there is no problem as you are both adults. However, 20 years from now you will be 60 and he is 40 and in better health and sex drive than you are. If he is not faithful, which is hard, he would be cheating on you. Even before then... THINK IT THROUGH AND THINK IT WISELY

Absolutely! If you've been together long enough to know each other & you think that marriage is the next step for your relationship go for it!
Age isn't really a factor unless there is an illegal age involved, but you are both obviously over-age so you needn't concern yourself with that.
Best wishes & Good luck!

Well, aint you a piece of work! You have, no doubt, put something on the boy that he never had before and now you are playing him to satisfy your own ego. How many times did you have to 'go round the world' with him in bed before he realized he just had to have you for the rest of his life? Look perfect together my buttt! Lady you are 18 years his senior, quit lying to yourself. Now, being horny is one thing but tying up that kid's life to be with your manipulating self is quite another.

I think if you have to ask that question then you are unsure. Got to be more than just looking perfect together. Every relationship requires a lot of work. I would leave it another year and re-assess your feelings. If you both still feel the same great!

He is too young to get married. Plus, my fiance was 26 and dated a 41 year old and I really make fun of him for it and so do his friends. He will regret getting married within a year. You're older, go for an older mature, wedding ready man.

I would..my parents were 15yrs apart and if my mom didn't get ill..they'd be together today...
Besides, you need an older man to equal out the brains between ya... younger men, just aren't right for the picking at 21-thru...35

What are your dreams and ambitions? Do they coincide with his? Does he even know who he is yet? When I was 21, I had no idea what I wanted out of life. If he's committed, knows what he wants to do with his life and so forth, then go for it. If he's unsure of what he wants out of life, it would be a huge mistake to marry him, because you'll both be miserable.
