Getting him neutered will help a lot - he's growing up and this is a sign of showing dominance.

Hi there, I am a Veterinarian Technition and hope to help! First of all, the reason why your Yorkie is humping your other dog is not because he is not neutered. In fact, it has NOTHING to do with that at this stage in his life! The humping is simply his way of dominating and saying he is the alpha dog. You best bet is to always have him do things second: feed him second, take him outside second, give him a cookie second, etc. Hope that helps!

Are they both males? is the little one male and the other a female? Could the springer be in heat if its a female? If it is just hormones,just get the pup down and say no in a strong , clear voice.You may have to do it for awhile.

As a temp fix spray the Yorkie with a water bottle. Then firmly say, "NO".
