I know this is a difficult question but what are some obvious ways to tell he likes you?
And if you say flirting, give me examples.

I think the most obvious signs a guy likes you is when he says the dumbest things just to keep talking. I say this because a guy I really like does that to me but he doesn't want to admit that he likes me. Because he thinks I will laugh. Also if a guy tries to hold your hand or starts talking dirty as a joke its totally obvious.

Most likely a guy will just stare at you a lot of the time and when you look his way he just stops looking at you until you look away. He will always ask only you for stuff they really don't need. Just so that they can get yur attention or he just wants to small talk or even make you laugh!
when a guy likes to play around a lot and glance his eye at you a lot even when your looking. he makes up nicknames and picks on you for fun because he nos it will be a funny joke and not serious to make you mad. when your angry he will feel sad for you and tell you he's sorry if he bothered u. they also will take up for u.
HE WILL RESPECT YOU A WANT TO KEEP IT REAL ABOUT IT ALL. HE'LL ALSO TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF.BUT NEVER SAY IT DIRESPECTFULLY.
He looks at you a lot and then turns away quickly or lookin down is a good sign, he may "accidentally" bump into you. His pupils dialate when he talks to you. When you talk to him he seems to be hanging on to every word...
you will know that a guy likes you when he loves to play with your hair and really annoys you that much... repeat those words you asked them even their not at all funny!!!
he'll use the any excuse to touch you.. like if you're wearing a necklace he'll move closer and grab it to "look at the necklace" or he'll play with a tie on your shirt or a ring.. anything to get close to you
he play fights with you
when he's talking to you he'll touch your arm or put his hand on your shoulder

Guys love to tease. Poking you, throwing small objects at you and laughing at (with) you shows he likes you more than a friend. Standing closer to you or purposefully brushing his body against yours is a sign he desires closeness to you.
He will also most likely go out of his way to talk to you and show you attention, as opposed to just saying "hi" in passing.
Girls usually look way too far into a guy's behavior. It's really pretty easy to tell when a guy likes you. Actually it's pretty easy to tell what a guy is thinking, period. Heh heh... Good luck.

If he starts hanging around with you a lot more and he starts treating you like you've been best friends for years. There are physical signs as well, like if a guy likes you his pupils dilate, but pupils can dialite when it's dim. It's pretty difficult. But there's also eye contact, if he's a shy guy, he'll attempt to make eye contact, but look away.

Shy Guys
These are tough to crack sometimes...
*He'll look at you, until you turn around, then boom, he's looking the other way.
You may 'feel' like he's watching you - but he's hard to catch at it
*He may do something physical - like grab you in a play way, poke you, play with your hair...
(Remember when you were really young and the guy you liked punched you or tackled you?)
*He may be working really hard to pay attention to you, but doesn't quite know how...
*He may ask a friend of yours about you - he'll say it's just for "friend of mine" that wants to know about you.
*He talks to everybody else - but when you're around he turns silent, or chokes up.
You seem to accidentally bump into him a lot of different places.
*He may not say a word to you, but he shows up in the same line, at the same movie, etc.
*He'll give you a little smile from across the room, but if you get near, he won't look up.
Basically - the BIG clue is that his behavior changes when you're around (compared to when he's around his buds or other girls).
DEAD Giveaway - when you talk to him he turns red.

*He remembers little things you mention in casual conversation.
It may take you by surprise. You might have been talking when he was around and two weeks later he'll say, "Well, you like orange fizz..."
*His voice changes when he talks to you in a group. He may say "Hey." to everyone with you, but the "Hey." to you is a little different.
His voice gets softer when the two of you talk.
*Sometimes he stares straight into your eyes.
*His eyes get 'soft' when he looks at you. They change slightly or get relaxed around the edges. It's subtle, but you can tell if you watch...

*If his friends are paying attention to you after he's been staring at you - it can mean that he's been talking about you.

*He might act weird around you or seem very nervous. His behavior may just plain change when you're around.
If he's normally quiet, he may get louder, or vice versa. It's the difference in behavior that's the clue.
