ive been dating a girl that i went out with back in the day.its been almost 10 years and i finally found her on myspace.she was very upfront and honest about it and weve been seeing each other for about 5 weeks.she has a lot of male friends and a few ummm.customers that she swears nothing is going on.
we get along great and even had my 2 girls over to her house to meet her 2.it went great.she tells me all the time how much she misses me and so on.she told me she could see herself falling in love with me too.im just an averge guy,average looks and definely not someone with a lot of money so the whole goldigger thing isnt it but im startin to catch feelins for her.(im 30 shes 27).id appreciate any advice from my situation and thanks for your time.

If you fell deeply in love with her, could you stand the thought of other men all over her all the time? This is a hard one, and if you want it to work I suggest the two of you find other ways to make a living. One of you could go to college and get financial aid to support the family temporarily until school was finished. Relationships take sacrifice, talk to her about quitting the stripper job, it's no life for anyone of any worth, and especially if she has two children of her own. There are other, better ways to make even more money than the stripping brings.

If the reason you don't want to get more involved is because she's a stripper, than I would let things go where they're going. Being a stripper doesn't make her a bad person. But if you're uncomfortable with her being a stripper, you should tell her so straight up.

Well she is someone from your past and she was up front about her job and you must of been okay with it if you have been dating her so why not go further. Just because she does this for a living doesn't mean she is not to be trusted. I say trust your gut feelings and take one day at a time. Good luck.

Do you have trust issues? I think it would be hard to date a stripper, wondering what's all going on while you're not there.
Would she consider getting a more normal job, for it to work out with the two of you? What kind of role model is that for your two girls?
