Speak to Worldwide Insure http://www.worldwideinsure.com/ as they do annual worldwide multi trip insurance and long term backpacker insurance. It sounds as if you'll need their long term backpacker insurance as it allows you to work. Seek their advice as i have found it to be good advice. My experiences with them is that they won't sell you something you don't need.

Hi,

You would definitely need a world wide annual travel insurance policy.

A annual travel insurance policy, is where you are not restricted on the number of trips you can make. As its say's on the website: "covers you for an unlimited number of trips or holidays abroad for a full 12 months."

You have nothing to lose, so why not try a get a online quote, and see what price you get. I think you may find you will receive a very competitve quote!

They also keep their overheads to an absolute minimum which is another reason why there are cheaper online.

See price for further information.

Hope this helps!!

Try Squaremouth. It is a comparison site that specializes in worldwide cover. There is a UK and a US site. The US site has a section for worldwide travelers and would offer you the best comparison for your trip.

The reason you need specialist cover is that you are staying away for a long time and may need to extend.

Most annual plans do not provide this type of cover, they will only cover you for a year so long as you do many short trips coming home in-between.

All the products at the site below will cover you for the full duration:
