I'm just wondering:

You know those emails you get that tell you the phone will ring, or something uproariously funny will pop onto your screen or you will find your true love within a week as long as you forward the email to seven of your friends?

Has any of that stuff ever happened? No, right? So why do you keep forwarding those friggin' emails? Is this the thing known as "Faith"?

Jedi, I'm looking for the swear, but I'm not finding it. It it was a swear, wouldn't it be like "Before the cock crows" and I wouldn't have to worry about it? ;-)

Sorry, cervix (or whatever your name is), I never forward that stuff...

I do, however, enjoy the taste of true SPAM in a can... contrary to popular belief, it actually isn't half bad.

I love the ones that say something like, "Send this prayer on to 12 people you love. If you don't show you love them within 15 minutes, something bad will happen."

Thanks for the chain-letter, God.

I always send a note to the people I care about explaining that I got another stupid chain-letter so I thought I'd take the opportunity to remind them that I love them. I never forward those emails.

More like wishful thinking.

Which is like faith to some, I guess.

I have faith - but not in those foolish emails which I delete without forwarding.
