The Mark of the Beast is the the mark put on the forehead of those who worship the Beast, the symbol of opposition to God. The Beast is the Antichrist, referred to in Rev. 13:18., who is the great antagonist expected by the early Church to set himself up against Christ in the last days before the Second Coming,

According to Rev. 13:16., the Mark of the Beast is the stain of apostasy, regarded as both indelible and inescapable. In other words, it is the unavoidable, permanent mark put on the forehead of those who have worshiped the Beast and have committed themselves to the abandonment of one's religious faith.

Before the invention of figures by the Arabs, in the tenth century, letters of the alphabet were used for numbers. The Greeks in the time of Homer, or soon after, are thought by some to have assigned to their letters a numerical value corresponding to their order in the alphabet. If you are familiar with the Greek of the New Testament, an argument can be made that the 666 is an allusion to Emperor Nero. Just as easily an argument can be made that the 666 refers to a "Latin Power" or, the Roman Catholic Church, Julius Caeser Atheus, Luther, and others.

As you can see from the above, there is no consensus on the interpretation.

This technology in its current form is found in the animal tags imbedded in their skin for tracking.

We don't exactly know what it is. All we know is what scripture tells us. It is a mark on the head or hand, and if you don't have it, you can't buy or sell anywhere in the world. Accepting it is to side with satan, and there is no turning back once you accept it. Your only choice is to run and hide, if you are seen without the mark and dont accept it, they kill you. We are told the mark is the name of the antichrist, or his number.

it is not 666 if it was that obvious everyone would see him now, 666 is gross imperfection because 7 is a perfect number in the bible triple 6s means over exaggerated imperfection and since the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one the mark is actually clinging to worldly things in a world that is passing away.
