Parents of teenage girls, and boys too I suppose, a question?
Would you pay to rent a "Baby Think it Over" for a few days to a week for a "Scared Straight" tactic? If so how much would you pay (Considering that unless your local school has it in the curriculum, the price is approximately $450.00 to purchase one). And you guessed it, my school district does not have it available.

Thanks in advance for your answers, and please do not answer if you are a teen. Thanks

I'd just borrow someone's newborn. Or send my kid to spend time with someone who just had a baby. :)

If you're hoping for abstinence, I don't think the video would work because teens think "It can't happen to me." If your kid wants to get pregnant or is pregnant, I would talk about what raising kids is like and ask how she plans to manage to get an education while raising a baby who needs someone on call 24/7. If she is pregnant, there are tons of people who are in a position to have children but are infertile and would love to adopt a child. Many will pay the medical expenses of the mother.

that's a great idea, but i would not pay that , if teen pregnancy is happening at your child's school , i would campaign to have them get them

I would say have your teen volunteer at a day care...
