I don't know if they're good or not, but be prepared to get phone calls EVERY DAY from them if you contact them. It's like talking to a salesman.

I went to AIU and it was an ok school. The online classes are pretty good. It does give you a good basic foundation in IT though. I guess it really depends on what you want to get out of it.

In December 2005 American Intercontinental University was placed on probation by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the probation period was extended for another year in December 2006. No reason was given for the extension other than that SACS "...indicated that more time is needed to demonstrate sustainability of certain changes."
On June 21, 2005 the US Department of Education put a freeze on approving new applications for additional campuses or acquisitions while it examines the company's financial records and compliance with federal student-aid regulations. That restriction was lifted on on Monday January 22, 2007.

Yes! Yes it is. They make communication big, and give you every type to do so. There are no tests, and the schedule is great. Just got my associates, going for bachelors. Go for it! [Plus they just changed to a cheaper tuition system last august.] Good luck!
