I do wish you would give me more information. Milk can make a puppy sick and isn't what it needs unless it is mothers milk. A one month old puppy is to young to be separated from its mother. Most puppies don't find a home for a minimum of six weeks. I never take a puppy unless it is eight weeks old. That is a personal preference. You can call your vet and they can supply you with a list of puppy food that your pet will eat and be healthy for him/her as the puppy is so young I would think some kind of formula will be needed for at least two to three weeks still. We have always fed our pets Puppy chow and then dog chow. I have had dogs for over fifty years and worked for a vet. So I always tell pet owner to check with the vet first. They shouldn't charge you for the information. You can also call the local humane society for information too. Remember your puppy can't live on yogurt for very long as it isn't a complete diet. Best of luck

Did someone give you that puppy? If they did they're not an educated dog owner or breeder because most puppies are not ready to leave the litter until 4-8 weeks after birth because your puppy is still weaning and needs to be on formula. Talk to a vet about finding formula you can feed it by bottle to the puppy that's close to the mothers milk.

Is there a reason why the puppy isn't still with his Mom? It takes about 6--8 weeks for a pup to be weaned from his mother.

Before doing anything else, give your vet a call to get in detail from them what you should be feeding your puppy.

Man, I wish people would do research before they do things.

Dogs, like cats cannot properly digest cow milk, if you have a puppy that is not with his mother and not weaned you either need to be bottle feeding puppy milk replacement formula or goat's milk.

Since you have been feeding it improper food, i would take the little guy for a vet's checkup asap.

hope your little guy is okay

DOG FOOD!! Does he have the runs!! I'd be suprised if he didn't. Is he with the mother? I would take him to the vet to find out what you should give him if the mother will not feed him. the "people" milk is not a good idea.

Why are you feed him people food? He should be eating puppy food..if it's to hard for him to chew...moisten it with water...make it softer for him....when he gets hungry enough he'll eat...yogurt and milk...your gonna make him very sick..poor little puppy!

Stop feeding him people food, or he will expect it all the time. Get puppy food (dry) and mix in a little canned food, and water. If he doesn't eat it at the set mealtime, take it away. I mean, don't let wet food sit out all day. If he nibbles during the day, just put out dry food.

He isn't with the mother? Why not? Stick with plain yogurt and milk and add in soft meats. Do you plan to feed processed kibble or raw diet?

Dogs can digest dairy, they just become intolerant after a while of being on processed kibble.

You might start him on some wet food or dry food that is moistened by water. He might be ready for dog food! =)
