HOW did they mess up your taxes? Did you really give them all the correct information? H & R Block stands behind their work, and will speak to the IRS for you, if they have made an error on your taxes. It sounds as though you WILL get your money, in only a coupld of months, so, I guess I do not understand how the company COULD have really messed up. I've waited as long as 14 months to get a refund from the government, and it was the govt's fault, no one elses. Check that out.

H&R Block messes up alot of people's taxes. There's no way to speed up the process. By being so called professionals they should be responsible for any penalties or fines if you end up owing from their mistake. I would definately request a refund of fees that you had to pay to them though and ask them to cover any bank fees if you used a bank product. Next year go to Liberty Tax we'll be happy to do your return right:)

Once things are to the IRS messed up, you can't do anything to speed up getting them fixed there.

If they truly did mess up, demand that they refund the fees that you paid.

Other than that, there is nothing to do to speed up the refund.
