Hi i'm 19 and don't have any i.d , i live in the uk and i was wondering dose the police do i.d cards it cause i want to go manchester with my friends tomorrow and dont have i.d and how long would it take the police to do a i.d card

Police will not issue you with ID cards - there is no such thing at present in the UK.
Birth Certificate - Driving Licence - Passport are all accepted as ID.
So are things like Student cards - Bus or Rail passes etc.
You don't need ID to go to Manchester.

You can obtain a proof of age card from the Portman group who are a regulatory body for the licensing trade. It is an ID card which costs £5, you can download an application and then you get a photo signed and authorised by a proffesional person who knows you. Its certainly much cheaper than a driving licence or passport. Have a look at the website to download an application.

Not sure if the police even do an i.d card but I think you've left it too late anyway. It looks like you'll be risking it.

Your ID must have a picture on and your date of birth you can get special ID go into your local off-license they normally have some info on where you can get them from.
Or take your passport out that's if you've got one!

If you don't have ID, do you have a passport or a driving licence, that should suffice. You wont' get it in time, but www.citizencard.com, they were not mega expensive for an ID card

If you have your passport you are okay as this is issued by H.M. Government and is recognised by most if not all boozers; clubs and other places as a legitimate form of ID. Also if you drive your driving licence as well

police don't do id cards. you need to get an officila one. when i was younger, you could get a leaflet in the co-op for a photo id. they take a while to come thru tho, so you're probably screwed!

take your british passport keep it safe
your birth certificate or anything that shows your date
dont drink too much i've already been
lol seen what its like up there
everday with drinks n green lol
